I would come up with a great explanation about why I don't post journals any more but really there isn't one. Just not that much has gone on in my life for the past year to write about bar a lot of school work and lazing around. I thought as it's now the summer holidays (and has been for the past 3 weeks) I should update everyone a little.
I went to Manchester MCM expo on July 21st as Ganta again as I really couldn't be bothered with making a new costume (is that bad. Probably). It was a pretty fun day although I realised why I found the costume a nightmare last year - even though the hall was bigger, there were more people and it was a very hot day meaning I was boiling in my costume again! We also met ~Huzaa and ~SynaesthesiaRedux who were great to talk to. I found I didn't spend as much as I expected which is good because I usually end up buying stuff I never use (although I am a sucker for buying art and cute things).
My summer so far has been pretty uneventful and I've been catching up on a lot of sleep. (aka staying up til 1am and sleeping in til 12 noon the next day) I recently picked up Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 which are really fun (but I remembered how bad I am at RPGs at times). It's been a shame about the weather in July as only now it has been warm and clear skies, so much for summer.
I've often found myself watching the Olympics, which I never usually do. I'm really happy with how well Team GB has done and I have to say, their kit's design is pretty amazing (I just love the jacket they all wear). I'm actually quite sad it's coming to an end but it was quite fun to watch (especially the swimming, for some reason I really like watching it).
I'm planning on going to London MCM Expo in October as Mayuri Shiina from Steins;Gate and maybe Rin Okumura from Ao No Exorcist (still undecided).
Right now though I should be doing art research. I wasted about 2 hours doing nothing so it's really time I get down to doing it...and also my results day is next week....ack.
